Restricted Counterparty Register – Member Guidance
Finova maintains a Restricted Counterparty Register to support market integrity and protect our members from engaging with parties who have, through verified information or repeated reporting, raised material concerns when operating as buyers, sellers, or brokers. The register exists to help members identify counterparties they should avoid engaging with, based on factual, risk-led assessments rather than opinion or speculation.
Members may both report concerns relating to counterparties and request checks against the Restricted Counterparty Register. While the Members area is currently undergoing redevelopment, access to this function remains available through Finova’s Compliance team. All enquiries are handled discreetly and in strict confidence.
If you wish to report a concern or request a counterparty check, please contact compliance@finovatrading.com and provide as much of the following information as possible to enable an effective review:
- Full name of the individual concerned
- Name of the company or entities involved
- Registered or known address
- Mobile and WhatsApp contact number(s)
- Email address(es)
- Any additional relevant context or supporting information
- The full CIS/KYC pack of the individual or company concerned
Upon receipt, Finova will review the information against the Restricted Counterparty Register and advise whether any material concerns are recorded. All submissions are treated confidentially, and inclusion on the register is determined through a structured internal review process aligned with Finova’s governance and compliance framework.
