Large-Scale, Off-Market Engagement
Finova’s engagement in property is focused on large-scale, high-value, and strategically significant assets in off-market, private sale or purchase contexts.
This is not general property brokerage, agency representation, or retail real estate activity.
Engagement is selective and structured, reflecting the complexity, discretion, and governance considerations associated with exceptional property assets.
Scope of Engagement
Finova may engage in strategic property contexts involving:
- residential, commercial, industrial, or land assets of exceptional scale or significance, and
- transactions characterised by private negotiation, limited market visibility, and substantial value.
Engagement is typically defined by:
- non-standard assets or ownership structures,
- jurisdictional and regulatory complexity, and
- heightened sensitivity around confidentiality and reputation.
Standard residential, commercial, or industrial property transactions fall outside this scope.
Residential Property
Finova’s engagement in residential property is limited to large-scale, high-end assets, typically exceeding 25,000 square metres, where scale, uniqueness, or strategic context materially differentiates the asset.
This may include:
- substantial residential estates,
- ultra-high-value residential developments, or
- residential assets forming part of broader strategic holdings.
Finova does not act as a residential property broker or agent for standard housing, apartments, or small-scale developments.
Commercial Property
Finova may engage in trophy commercial property contexts, including:
- landmark office buildings,
- major hotels and hospitality assets, and
- other iconic or strategically significant commercial properties.
Engagement is typically associated with:
- private ownership or institutional holdings, and
- discreet sale or acquisition processes outside open market listings.
Routine commercial leasing, brokerage, or transactional agency activity falls outside this scope.
Industrial Property and Operational Complexes
Finova’s engagement in industrial property is focused on entire operational complexes, rather than individual facilities or units.
This may include assets such as:
- refineries,
- mines and mining complexes,
- large-scale processing facilities, or
- integrated industrial or logistics operations.
Engagement in these contexts often intersects with:
- operational continuity considerations,
- regulatory and licensing frameworks, and
- jurisdictional and environmental oversight.
Land Assets
Finova may engage in land-related contexts involving exceptional or strategic land holdings, including:
- private islands,
- entire districts or zones, and
- large, contiguous land parcels of strategic or development significance.
These engagements are typically characterised by:
- complex ownership or title considerations,
- long-term strategic or sovereign interest, and
- high sensitivity around confidentiality and control.
Nature of Engagement
Across all property categories, Finova’s role is to support structured, disciplined engagement rather than to act as a real estate agent or broker.
This may include:
- supporting clarity between parties,
- assisting with structuring and governance considerations, and
- facilitating alignment in complex, off-market transactions.
What This Is Not
To avoid misalignment, it is important to be clear about what Finova does not do in this area.
Finova does not:
- act as a residential, commercial, or industrial property broker,
- market or list properties publicly,
- engage in small-scale or standard real estate transactions, or
- provide property management or leasing services.
Indicative, Not Exhaustive
The above is indicative of Finova’s engagement in strategic property and trophy real estate rather than exhaustive.
Exceptional or non-standard property contexts may be considered on a case-by-case basis where alignment clearly exists. Such consideration should not be assumed.
Clarity First
Strategic property transactions require discretion, structure, and trust.
Where alignment exists, engagement proceeds thoughtfully.
Where it does not, clarity is provided early.
